Jachenau – this does not stand for action, hype and adventure but rural life, pristine nature, sunny and fog free valley, alps, mountains and streams. Looking at the area Jachenau is a huge village, but only has 900 inhabitants, who live quite distributed. These 29 parts of the village of Jachenau are connected by country lanes. This feature is very attractive for hikers and bicyclists. There is even no fillings station! The center of the village is marked by the church, the maypole, the fire station, three inns (one of which is our Gasthof Post), the tourist information and a village shop. This is how central, but also very relaxing you will enjoy your stay with us.

Some may panic because of this, other will love the following facts: Jachenau is one of the few sanctuaries that does not have any electro smog: Cell phones do not work and your radio stays silent.
